Sending or Picking Up a Package
All packages must include the following information and meet shipping guidelines.
- Please take your envelope or package to our airport counters and one or our staff will be happy to assist you
- Name of person picking up package MUST be on invoice/package
- Person picking up package MUST present a valid picture ID with an ID number
- Accurate phone numbers are required for both sender and recipient
- Envelopes may be presented closed, but packages should remain open for inspection
- All packages must be received at least 30 minutes prior to intended departure
- Package weights are measured in tenths of pounds; those above four-tenths of a pound will be rounded up to the next weight category
- Large boxes will be shipped on the first available flight
- Boxes should be packaged securely as well as their contents should also be packed securely to avoid loss or damage
Shipping Terms & Conditions:
- FTW accepts major credit cards and debit cards. We do not accept cash or checks as a form of payment
- If a flight cancels due to weather or mechanical reasons, the package will be sent on the next available departure
- FTW will not be held responsible for loss or damage of shipment due to weather,
mechanical reasons, or reasons beyond our control - The sender is responsible for adequately packing freight and FTW will not be held responsible for loss or damage of freight due to insufficient packing, securing, marking, or addressing
- In the event of damage or loss of shipment, the sender must report all claims verbally and in writing
at the time of pick up. FTW liability on any shipment is limited to $100 - Fly The Whale reserves the right to inspect or reject a shipment of freight that will likely cause personal injury, violation of Hazardous Materials Regulations, damage to other freight, or equipment. C.O.D. service is not available
- Fly The Whale does not carry hazardous materials such as spray paint, paint thinner, 140 and over plus proof spirits, pesticides, lye, and any item that contains compressed gases or flammable fuels and/or oils, even if drained, on any scheduled flights. FTW Does Not Ship:
- Currency or money
- Live animals
- Bicycles
- Surf boards
- Bullion, gold, silver, platnium, or precious alloys or metals
- Jewelry, watches, precious or semiprecious stones
- No household items: bleaches, drain cleaners or solvents that contain dangerous chemicals, which can cause toxic fumes and corrosion
- No flammable liquids: fuel, paints, solvents, adhesives, alcoholic beverages higher than 140 proof and flammable gases such as lighter
refills and camping gas might leak and cause a fire - No fireworks: signal flares and other explosives which might detonate due to their sensitive nature
- Strike-anywhere matches, gasoline-powered tools, spray cans, self-inflating rafts, poisons, infectious substances, mace and pepper spray

If you currently have a WhalePak Frequent Travel account, feel free to charge your packages on your account. Our staff will assist you when you come to the counter to ship your item.
Sender must have proof of authorization to use the account and the account information at time of drop off

Not a problem! You can create a WhalePak account just for your freight shipping or just pay for your package at the counter without an account. FTW takes major credit cards and debit cards. We do not accept cash or checks at the counter.
